Breakfast great!

Upon arrival, the lobby was clean but had a very musty smell. Like old cigarettes and dirt. Check in was easy. The lounge was closed, and sadly the pool was green and sludgy . Our room was actually pretty nice aside from the dust caked vents and sticky floor. The bedding was very clean, as was the mattress and mattress cover. The chair had questionable stains. (IYKYK) we did end up having to go to the desk for housekeeping supplies because of the floors. The lady working at the front desk on the pm shift was absolutely amazing . She was covering and in Boise from Oregon. We were very disappointed about the pool… they said it was green from the smoke and all the July fires happening but that was simply not the case. We were in room 315 and saw them poor an enormous amount of pool treatment into the water from our room, and the next morning it looked somewhat better, more of a murky blue, but still. It was nasty. The ice machine on the third floor was broken, and we could have gotten ice from the lounge but it was closed. The carpets in the hallways were nasty and stained. But , considering we were only in the room to sleep and change clothing, it was ok. I would give it 2 stars out of 5 just because the gal working the desk was amazing. When I asked about a possible discount, (because we literally had to get supplies to clean the floors from the front desk) it was not even discussed. (The day staff could care less).
