"The staff here is fantastic! I love the history that is acquainted with the the Smithfield Inn. Although it is a very old establishment, my room was clean and had all the modern amenities other hotels have. One of the special features is they have an agreement with the Smithfield Gourmet Bakery. You receive a voucher for up to a $12 value for a HOMEMADE breakfast of your choice! Smithfield is a very charming, safe, walkable town with many shops, restaurants and sites to see. I have family who recently moved here and the Smithfield Inn is where I'll be staying when visiting."

"My stay at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Chesapeake Suffolk was decent overall. The staff was friendly and check-in was smooth. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a short stay 🛏️✨. The breakfast was a nice touch with plenty of options to start the day ☕🥐. What I really didn’t like, though, were the hotel hallways—they were extremely hot 🔥🥵 and uncomfortable when walking to and from the room. It definitely made the experience less enjoyable. With cooler hallways, this hotel would easily feel much more welcoming. The location is convenient, and the service was good, but I hope they address that hallway issue soon. "
