“This is a no-frills kind of place. The stairway to the apartment is narrow and curved. There is a strong smoke smell in the building corridor which seeps into the living room of the apartment a little bit, but fortunately doesn't reach the bedrooms. The walls are thin, and I could hear bits of conversation and walking around from the upstairs unit. Some things seem not to have been designed with actual comfort in mind - for example, there are flashy LED lights in the ceiling, but no bedside lamp……

“The place was clean and check in was seamless. It is a very basic, no frills apartment. The kitchen has very basic items. Not very conducive for cooking much. The bed was comfortable. I would recommend it for anyone needing a place to sleep but not too hang out in.”

“VERY BAD AREA! We did not even stay in the house because the area the home is located in seems very very unsafe. We ended up staying in a hotel. No refund given. Host communicated well, but said we must not be used to an urban area. I am well aware of urban areas and this was something completly different. ”

“Everything was great! Only reason for 4 stars on cleanliness was that the end table in the livingroom and nightstand in bedroom did not appear to have been wiped down. There was something sticky on them. And a minor oversight (becuase this should have been done by prior guest) was that the coffee pot still had a used coffee filter with grounds in it. But the pot itself was washed clean.Host was very quick to respond when texted. Very cozy place and quiet community.Maybe make a note to……

“The place was exactly as described. Family of four, with 14/11 years old. Kids loved it. Check in process was super smooth. This place had everything that you could think of and a fully functional kitchen. Lots of love and effort went into the details here. Gorgeous decor. Patio was super cute. Great location, walking distance to both stadiums, inner harbour, National Aquarium, and lots of transit options nearby. Shelley was such an amazing host. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Two things I would say first, whoever installed the toilet paper holders, installed them upside down and when you try to unroll The paper it would fall off of the holder. Secondly, if you could put darker shades on the windows to block out the light. Other than that, it was a perfect trip.”

“We paid for two pets to stay with us and the owner accused us of having 3 dogs and tried to charge us additional fees. He has a Ring camera and could easily have verified we only had 2 dogs. He claimed the cleaning lady saw 3 dogs. Based on the wad of chewing gum and dog turd on the floor, obviously the cleaning lady is blind. ”

“This is challenging to write. The house is beautiful. It is updated and clean and the location is amazing. We were walking distance to many venues and parking was not an issue. However, there are a couple of things I think need mentioning. I thought the listing said the house sleeps 4. We had 3 of us and I got charged quite a bit extra for a third person.
