"I stayed here many years ago. It is s completely different updated well done Mountain accomodation. Loved the uplifting yellow room . The bathroom was so clean & modernized. The Manager fellow made us very welcome. "

"The check in process was a breeze once we got to the correct building. Clean hotel but shocked that it doesn’t have AC - I must have missed this during booking and we happened to be here on a very hot, smoky day. It didn’t help that when we got to our suite, we discovered the patio door was left open and the suite was filled with smoke smell. Luckily, we had a fan in the room and managed to cool off the suite a little. Overalls, not a bad place at all. "

"Comfy mattresses, wonderful location near the Kicking Horse Lodge up on the mountain overlooking Golden, walking distance from the gondola/ski lift, along with its grizzly bear refige, hiking and biking trails, and even rock climbing. Stunning vistas at the top and the Eagle's Eye Restaurant, too. We stayed here for one night and arrived late. I have back issues, but was quickly offered luggage unloading. Some complained about the lack of AC, but our host, Gordon, loaned us a fan that did...

"We rented a cabin here for the night. Not only was the view beautiful, but the inside was nice and spacious, and clean! The cabin has 3 sized queen beds in it, perfect for my family of 4. Although, the food options they have are a bit on the pricier side.... it was decent. The lake is a really beautiful site to see. My family and I walked up and down the lake, skipping rocks, and just having a fun time taking in the views. "

"This was the perfect little condo with all the amenities. The only thing missing was air conditioning. At 36C it was very uncomfortable in the room even with all the fans going. "

"The property was a beautiful place to stay after a long day of hiking. The room was very clean and had a great little kitchenette. Water pressure was kind of low but to be expected so remote and the water was nice and hot and bathroom very clean. Wifi wasn't great but sort of enjoyed being disconnected for a few days. Apparently there was a bear nearby (we were told be staff) but we didn't see it. Enjoyed the Beach Camp coffee and chatting with it' s friendly staff. Renfrew Pub was delicious....
