"Quiet cabins! Helpful staff "

"The cottage was nice for what we needed which was a place to shower and sleep. It was a little further from Acadia National Park (about 45 minute drive one-way). Allen was very kind and welcoming. The grounds were in need of some care and we are pretty sure there was a mouse in the cottage."

"My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights, both 19 years old, to visit Acadia National Park. The check-in process was very easy, and we got in an hour early which was great. I would definitely recommend having no more than 3 guests as it is a very tight squeeze, but it worked out since it was really just a place to sleep. I would also mention that the bathroom has a sliding door that doesn’t lock and leaves a gap. We encountered one issue regarding the oven during our stay, but the host was quick...

"This Maine cottage has everything you need for a quiet stay on the Southwest Harbor side of Acadia National park - only 15 minutes away. Kitchen is well equipped. Cove that it is on is quiet. Would definitely come back again."

"The property was clean and as listed upon arrival. Our son loved having the water right up the the house and being able to fish. The house was well furnished, had extra blankets and adequate kitchen supplies. Any drawbacks were minor; limited food storage (pantry) space and limited local entertainment . Time to Bar Harbor/Acadia approx 50-55 min."

"We had a great stay at Acadia Yurts! Kids enjoyed the loft and parents enjoyed the space of the larger yurt. Karen and Aaron are great hosts; always responsive and helpful. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great experience near Acadia National Park!"

"The cabin was great! It was a little further from Acadia than we thought, but worked out fine for our short stay. We knew trash removal was our responsibility but struggled to find somewhere to take it. A local told us about stickers and that trash day was Thursday. Great getaway for a rustic experience. Basic and met our needs. We would come back again."

"Everything was great. House was very clean. As noted in description there is a second house on the property that is located between you and the water. No one was there so it was just fine, not sure if someone was staying there how it would be. Ability to access kayaks whenever we wanted was a nice touch."

"This wonderful apartment is located on the Quiet Side of Mount Desert Island, which was a big plus for us! As an added bonus, there is a grocery store (and a laundromat) 0.1 mile away. The beds and sofas are comfortable, the kitchen fully stocked with all the bakeware, cookware, crockery, flatware and utensils you will need. The bathroom is tiny, but certainly serviceable. And the owners, Tim and Sian are regularly updating and improving the property. Overall, we had a delightful stay!"

"We loved staying at Acadia Yurts. Close proximity to many great restaurants and not too far of a drive to the national park or Bar Harbor, a little over 20 minutes. Property owners are very engaging, helpful and great at communicating with guests. The yurt has everything you could need, clean and comfortable. Situated in and around nature. A beautiful location, we would definitely return in the future."
