“We had a poor experience here. The heating in the cottage didn't work, so we were uncomfortably cold throughout our stay. We asked for help as soon as we checked in, but the host was unresponsive. There were small beetles in the bed, there was a leak from the base of the toilet, and the front door lock was faulty, so locking and unlocking the front door was tricky. Everything felt damp. We haven't heard anything back from the host when we identified these issues.”

“Brilliant communication from the host. Immaculate house in a quiet residential street. Had a driveway which fit our two cars comfortably. The house itself was beautiful. Stunning decor and attention to detail. Modern appliances and everything you need. Beds were super comfy with soft linen. The location was great as shops and retail park just a few minutes drive away, Durham was approx ten mins by car. The welcome booklet was so detailed it helped us lots. "The room was very clean and tidy, the staff were friendly, and the bed was large and comfortable. The room had air conditioning, and the hotel is dog-friendly. Overnight charging was available for £15, and my car was fully charged by the morning. Overall, I was very satisfied with everything and would definitely stay here again."
