We stayed for an entire week and loved our stay. James and Amanda were very kind and helpfull and made a delicious fresh breakfast every day. The room was nice, clean and tidy. The location was perfect for visiting Eninbrugh while also visiting other cities by rental car, because we could park for free. Highly recommended!

Amanda was very welcoming when we arrived and a bonus was the free onsite parking and close proximity to the university. It was just what we needed for the one night stay. Unfortunately, the bathroom is a bit dated, and the shower roof is on a slant so I managed to stand upright, just, but any taller and you would struggle. I did appreciate they had left a stool though so you could sit down and not bump your head if you wanted too. Amanda was very kind and apologised when I explained about it. The fan in the shower unfortunately stayed on all night which disturbed my son. The sofa bed was not very comfortable nor were the pillows but appreciate that pillows are a personal preference. Also a note for Expedia: there is no way to select breakfast for this location or even to say if it’s included or not. I had wrongly assumed from the reviews that it was included as there had been no option to add it.

This accommodation was great, but what made it fantastic we’re the hosts, Karen and Jeff! They were very friendly and went out of their way to meet our needs. The breakfasts were delicious! Would definitely recommend this B&B to others.

Great Place to stay

A great place to stay. Far enough from the city centre to be away from it all... but close enough to get out for walk, take in the history and enjoy plenty of entertainment. The hosts are very friendly and can't do enough to help. I'd definitely recommend this place to other people.
