The room was so spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. The complimentary cookies were such a sweet touch. The breakfast each morning was also delicious with attentive staff. "The hotel is very nice, room clean with a lovely view of the lake. Food and drinks in the bar were very good with a nice atmosphere The spa was very disappointing though as the pool was far too cold and most of the spa type features (jets etc) were not working. Also we mistakenly left an item in the room which the hotel staff told us was not handed in which is again very disappointing when staying at an upmarket hotel."
