“We had an excellent trip. River was amazing and we especially liked reading the Legends of the Au Sable book that was left for guests. House had everything we needed including toiletries and extra blankets. Visiting the state park nearby was a highlight. Did not care for the camera in the backyard that I could hear every time I walked by while playing bocci ball. Recommend taking food with since there are only two bars and a dollar general in town. Emily was kind enough to drop off extra kayaks...

“Had a great time! Cabin was super cute. All was good. The only thing we wished we would have had access to more towels. There was only 3 in cabin. So another set of towels would have been nice. We made do. We utilized the back deck, fire pit and fished. Fishing was a big hit and multiple 17-20 inch bass were caught. A lot of bluegill as well. ”

The river is so close to the house the views are stunning every direction you look. There is a “patio” area that is literally on the river with comfortable furniture and is covered and dry even when it rained. The house is immaculate, clean and so comfortable.
