“This is my new favorite place- right down from Ellen's Shell station that has the best pizza in town. :). I felt safe who was clean they use Dove products, so grateful for your skin, the environment and women's initiatives. Just an all-around wonderful place that deserves the five stars. Breakfast was namebrand muffins, coffee, but no fresh fruit. Only recommendation I'd make to the staff, it would be lovely if you put out a few apples or oranges at breakfast. “Birch Run Lodge is like stepping back in time. It’s a quintessential Michigan lake experience. The main inn building, circa 1912, is beautiful. Its long porch faces Trout Lake with plenty of rocking chairs to sit and enjoy the view. The Inn’s interior features a beautiful bar, dining room, lots of vintage furnishings and an air of comfort. The Inn’s owner/proprietors are welcoming and present. We stayed in the motel portion of the Lodge, which is classic mid-century and decorated in that era.……
