“We really enjoyed two nights here in a beautiful old village inn! The staff was very friendly and helpful, the food delicious and carefully made to order, and the location peaceful and bucolic - highly recommended to anyone looking for time away from the city!”

“This place is possibly the best we have stayed in. The customer service was second to none, every single member of staff, and there seemed to be quite a few, was extremely obliging and friendly. The court yard room was immaculate and had everything you needed. The Breakfast was the best we have had. We ate in the restaurant three nights and the food was great as was the choice on the menu. Bar had plenty of choices of drinks. Good area to explore with plenty of places nearby. We would recommend……

“The 2 bed cottage was lovely, thoughtful touches including treats and a basket for our dog. Breakfast was fabulous. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend! ”

“The room was very clean and tidy. On the booking it didn't say there breakfast, but when I got into the room there was a lovely breakfast bag. The car park was small but was adequate. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to stay there. Also the staff were very helpful ”

“The location is great as it is very central to the town. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. Very clean room which had everything that I needed for a comfortable stay. Lovely cooked breakfast, too. ”

“It felt like home. A short walk to the bus depot gave me access to all surrounding sites, or an easy 25 minute walk to city centre. Tea and coffee, juice and bread on hand. Two friendly dogs that were all talk at first became friends during the first encounter.”

“We got upgraded to a studio apartment as needed a ground floor for disability. Bar man was very helpful and showed us the key codes etc. very appreciative for upgrading. Thank you Wolf Inn for a great night stay . ”

“Room was clean and comfortable. Friendly staff good atmosphere in the bar. Food was good. Great aera for exploring. Stayed here before and the function room and some areas are looking neglected we understand the roof needs replacing on the function room and that there are plans in progress shorty. Needs some love to restore the curb appeal around the check in entrance to give a better first impression. Enjoyed our stay here and good value for money.”
