“We were visiting family in the area for Thanksgiving. I booked this house in particular because it was close and had four bedrooms and two bathrooms and I needed a place to cook for Thanksgiving. We had quite a few issues as the house needs some updates. It doesn’t look quite like the pictures. There was not the proper bedding for this time of year so two of my people slept down on the older couch where it was warm. They also had one TV in the entire place which stinks if you want to go into……

“Very responsive and pleasant host. Place is well appointed and clean with everything one needs for a comfortable easy stay. The park across the street is safe and amazing for dog walks. ”

“The apartment was a nice size for two people- any more than that and I would have felt cramped. The fridge/freezer was not sized for leftovers or much more than some drinks and basics. The provided pans, glasses, and flatware were clean and easy to locate. We did notice that a door that looked like it went to a different unit had a lock on it that was broken off and the group staying above us seemed to not be aware/care that there were people below them. If you’re used to living under someone……

“The house worked out well for our family Christmas gathering. The kitchen is large and well equipped, and folks enjoyed the charcoal grill and hanging out around the fire pit in the evening. A nice weekend!”

“The stay wasn’t bad, we got there to a broken couch so we were down a seat to sit in. However, my sister had dog fur on her from my brothers house and it transferred to the bed sheets and they charged 63 for “new” linens and extra cleaning. It wasn’t that much fur I have the pictures, this is excessive. Be mindful when staying here. ”

“This was a very nice house. The decor was very interesting. We felt right at home. We were in town for an event at Elon University. It was a 15 minute dive. If my daughter ends up at Elon, we will most definitely be renting this again.”

“THIS was exactly what my husband & I needed! The peace & quiet was cathartic to both of us. We LOVED the cabin & it was indeed a Fortress of Solitude in the most beautiful way! We were truly able to disconnect from our hectic jobs & responsibilities & simply BE. And yet, we ate dinner Wed night with nearby family members at the Homestead Steakhouse, and it was wonderful-both the company & the food. We will definitely return; hopefully for longer stays. The property itself was clean & well……
