"This was great with a buddy. It’s downtown Des Moines. Short walk to farmers market on Saturday morning. Took a walk by myself in the afternoon, not smart. Use the buddy system. It’s a big old beautiful city."
"Didn’t expect to pay a $30 charge for parking my vehicle. Seems excessive since the parking spots are packed in like sardines. Other than that the room was great. Very clean and spacious "
"Checked in, went to room, no towels, no extra toilet paper, no kleenex. Went to the front desk and got towels and tp. Evidently they had absolutely no kleenex. On day 3 had to ask the front desk for clean towels. No daily service in the rooms. Tried to call front desk to ask about wifi, had to go back to the front desk to ask and they had a sign to call the front desk person. She explained no wifi from the storms that weekend. (this was Sunday) Had no wifi for the stay and we left on Wed. Pool was fine, but no towels kept at the pool so my granddaughter was using her shower towel as her pool towel also. Room was comfortable. Exercise room was locked and had a notice on the door from March, 2020."
