"Overall a very good experience. The condo was clean and comfortable. Beautiful view from the lanai. The condo was very hot and the ceiling fans would only run on low. Would have been nice to have a higher speed on them. The floor fans helped."

"Barbara and her staff are absolutely the kindest people on earth! Their description of their ranch is exactly as they say. We got to live with nature but all the elements of a very upscale ranch. It was holistic, peaceful and nurturing for the soul. This is NOT a place for people looking for a pedicure. This is a place for healing and time within and reflection. My husband says it’s “simple and spiritual.” We have backpacked and hiked all over the islands and this place was such a gem to us....

The facility is very primitive, meaning there is NO A/C, no staff onsite and no housekeeping. "This property is ideally situated by the seaside, various shops and restaurants. It also is a beautiful tropical oasis, surrounded by various flowering plants and fruit trees. Our unit was nice and so clean. The host thought of everything to make our stay there very comfortable and relaxing. I will definitely come back when I visit Kona again. It’s absolutely wonderful property and place to stay, worthy of praise."

"Our host was very friendly, checked us in personally and showed us all the beach toys we could use--towels, cooler, umbrella, chairs, boogie boards, masks/snorkels. A lot of useful gear. He also suggested good snorkeling spots. The upstairs rooms had plenty of fans, was well-stocked for our stay, and we had so much room--three queen beds for just the two of us. The screened-in lanai was a cool spot for taking evening refreshments after sunset. Grocery shopping and "downtown" were just a short...

"Very nice unit with a nice view of the pool. As other people has stated parking is challenging. But I always found a place in the lot or right next to the property on the street. The bed is comfortable and I slept well. Minor issue with some small ants in the bathroom.owner was very responsive. I would definitely stay here again."
