Owner of this property doubled booked my stay and then canceled my reservation after I booked nonrefundable flights! Then the nerve to tell me sorry that he or she forgot to update the available dates on the vrbo website! Not sure how that happened hut it did. Their solution was for me to book different dates. I had mentioned I was traveling with children and elders on a family vacation and the heartless owner just said "sorry it's already booked but look for another date." Honestly, that was the worst thing to tell anyone in a situation like this especially when it was their fault!!! Now that I'm back from my vacation, I will be contacting VRBO to look into this matter for it's poor and terrible handling! It was way out of line and they just brushed me off like it was not a big deal. Fortunately I was able to find another lovely home that accommodated my family and was a lot more convenient to get around. The Malecon was a very short 5 min drive and a very near the beaches. Balandra beach was about 25 mins away!!! Killer deals with Uber by the way, No ferry required to get there. Tourist just beware before you think about renting this place. I wish I could post screenshots of the conversation I had with the owner of this property so you can see that this review is legit and not made up. Hope this helps future travelers.
