“The house is beautifully decorated and bountifully stocked. The internet speed is fast and reliable, but we used our time to unplug and put down devices. I really enjoyed the pastoral views. We got to see green rolling hills, cows, the mountains in the background and lots of backyard birds. It is a very special property.”

“Preston and Judy are delighful people. They responded to any question or need very quickly. Judy even grasciousy washed the pillowcase of a pillow that was left behind before we could get it the next day. The house was great and the view is spectacular!”

“My mother and sisters stayed at Hidden Valley Farm for the Mother's Day weekend. We loved every moment of our stay. The Hosts were awesome! The cottage was beautiful and very accommodating for our stay! We used every space available in the cottage and outside. It was such a peaceful and restful place. We were close to many activities - the area is rich in history. Lastly, the animals on the farm were awesome and we enjoyed watching and visiting them all! We hope to stay here again in the future!”

“Property is close to Lynchburg bit lets you enjoy the country setting. It is a great place to unwind and hang by the firepit. Everything you need is there and the host was available when needed. We had no reason to contact the host as the property was exactly as described. We will rent again!”

“Entire family enjoyed the stay at Second Creek Farm. Cozy accommodations offering comfort, peacefulness, connection with nature, and welcoming owners. The property is lovely and access to hiking, crabtree falls, wintergreen, and other nearby locations is fantastic. If you are searching for a place to unwind this is it. The pond, livestock, firepit, wood burning fireplace, historical charm of the house / property, and well stocked home were all very much appreciated. We will be back.”

“From the moment we arrived at the property and identified ourselves as the family staying at Elmo's rest, we were treated like part of the family. We arrived at the house to find everything clean and ready even though we were a couple hours early. The house is a century old so floors creak and some doors stick a bit. “This house was everything we could have asked for and more. The location was amazing. It was secluded at the foot of the mountains, which made for beautiful sunrises and sunsets. It was quiet and peaceful. It was also centrally located to area attractions, such as, natural bridge, VA safari park, Lynchburg, and the natural bridge caverns.
