“Pros: the beds are comfortable. Cons: The breakfast is overpriced for one with very limited choice. I guess it is because the customers don’t have much choice near the area. I would recommend sleep in nearby small town over this historical hotel. Historical means history and also old if not well maintained. The overall building is outdated. The air conditioning in our room needs a filter change, the bathroom is old, bathtub pealed off and hot water is just warm. The night shift staff is not……

“Whimsical Creekside cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our 2 nights stay.The location is very good. You do not see any other cabin or camp from the cabin and so you have complete privacy. The sound of the water flowing by the side of the cabin is so relaxing. There are a lot of board games available in the cabin. There were enough utensils, linens, towels, etc. Microwave was pretty big and the A/C units worked perfectly. “Friendly staff. Pool and hot tub are nice. Decent breakfast. Great location. Suite has separate sitting area with door to bedroom and two TVs - perfect for night owl / early bird couples. Walmart, food, gas, etc. in short proximity. Many dining options (Applebees, Ruby Tuesday, Chick Fil A, Burger King, Jersey Mikes, RC Pizza & Subs, Waffle House, and more) all within a couple minutes drive, a few even walkable. Devil's Backbone local brewery a few minutes drive.”
