“We all had a great time. Love this area of North Carolina. Just had an issue with the cleaning crew. We arrived about 15 minutes before check in and the cleaning crew was still there. Since we were slightly early we drove around the area and came back at check in time. We waited for about 20 minutes for them to leave and finally went into the house. We were told that they still needed to finish vacuuming and to scrub the floors. We looked around told them to just finish vacuuming and not to...

“The location was great and easy to access. The river is lovely and we enjoyed walking down the rocky bank. In hindsight, the house is catering to skiers, because there is no air conditioning. That really should be disclosed. I would also suggest updating the bath linens, and invest in a frying pan. There were ants in the kitchen, a common problem we all have, but just wanted you to be aware. The porch and outdoor seating were extremely dirty, and not able to be used. ”

“A long weekend enjoyed with 3 families! Location was perfect! We enjoyed easy access to the ski slopes and tubing. Host was easy to work with. We can't wait to come back next year!”

“Even though the weather wasn’t great, the cabin was clean and cozy. Screened in porch was so nice to just sit, read and enjoy the rain. We were hoping to get to use the fire pit outside but winds prevented that. Will keep this on our list of places to stay in the future.”

“The home was clean, welcoming, well stocked, and very straight forward with how to use and work everything. The host was extremely helpful and super easy to reach. My only complaint is really minimal - it rained a good bit during out trip and the porches are not rain proof. HOWEVER - the hot tub/grill/outdoor space is rain proof. Otherwise fantastic!”
