Only negative is although there is a lovely park in front of the homes, sadly a lot of the homeless population hang out in the park, does not feel super safe at night and would definitely not recommend walking on your own. “We loved our stay! Everyone was so nice! From the time we arrived to the moment we left, we felt as if we were at home away from home. I had a knee injury before our arrival so I did struggle with the stairs. Not a criticism at all, just something for travelers to be aware of. We stayed in the Colorado room which was comfortable and very quiet. All the decor was lovely and we were in love with everything about it. Thank you everyone at the Lumber Baron Inn- you all were simply wonderful. ”

“We had a great time at the Silk Pincushion. It was an easy walk and easy drive to hike to the mesa or get to dinner downtown. What stood out is the breakfast and the company. They hosted and treated us to a great breakfast and the people were so friendly and easy and enjoyable to get to know.
