“While the place is well located and the staff are lovely, this is really a 3 star hotel. It was clean, but some aspects of the room were not “4-star” quality (scuff marks on wall, quality of the bed and sheets, etc). As other reviews have mentioned, you can feel the coils in the mattresses which can be uncomfortable.

“The location is very convenient for a short stay to soak up the most of Edinburgh. The storage room is swifts. Do note that the building in the center of various construction so the traffic is nightmare, no taxi will stop in front of the building but you can manage with a short walk to Hilton crossed the road for hauling.”

“This was a beautiful apartment to stay in, with the perfect mix of historic charm and fresh, modern finishes. We did have a mix-up with our booking, as the room was reserved for three people but didn’t have a sleeping option for the third guest. However, reception responded quickly and made things right, which we really appreciated. Overall, we had a lovely stay and I would definitely stay here again.”
