Fully furnished, charming and comfortable, 4 bedroom - 2 bath, short-term home has new linens, new beds (1 King, 2 queen, 1 single, trundle bed, 1 youth, 1 portable playpen/crib), laundry room, brand new 4K Samsung TV’s and a fully-equipped kitchen. High-speed Internet, over-air cable and utilities included. We’ve gone solar! (Please turn the thermostat to 79 when leaving). Maitland is a beautiful, upscale community nestled between numerous lakes and parks, located just north of Orlando. It’s a perfect location because you feel like you’re in a small town, yet you’re close to everything. Out of respect for my neighbors and because this is a quiet neighborhood, no motorcycles are allowed... Just a few blocks from the Maitland Art Center & Museum and the historic Lake Lily Cultural Corridor. Enjoy the Farmer’s Market, stroll around the many lakes or dine at numerous places including Teak’s Neighborhood Grill. Randa, who lives in the guesthouse on the property, is available to assist you with any questions and advice about the area. The home is located one mile from the famous Enzian Theater and Eden outdoor bar. Dine on great food while you watch a movie! A short 8 minute walk to SunRail Train Station, great when events are downtown! Only a few miles to Winter Park for world class shopping, dining with 140 boutiques, sidewalk cafes, and museums.

If you’re here for a medical-related stay, SunRail drops you off right in front of Florida Hospital Orlando (Advent Health). Very close to Rollins College and UCF. Walt Disney World and Universal are close and yet far enough away to avoid all the tourist traps and traffic. Distance in miles…

Before booking, some have inquired as to why we charge a per person fee of $20 per night for any guests over two people. This is because it's a lot more wear and tear on the property with 6 verses 2 (more towels, laundry, water, air-conditioning, etc.). By the time we pay the VRBO fee, taxes, income tax, etc., my profits are slim. The cost of staying here is so much less than any hotels in the area, AND you receive a full kitchen, family room, dining, etc. Most guests, after they stay here, tell me that I'm not charging enough. I want it to be a win-win for everyone. :)

Home Away from Home

We live locally and found this charming home and a great neighborhood to stay for a week while our house was under renovation. It was perfect for us and walking distance to mini crate restaurants which we took advantage of. And the property owner is fantastic!

This property is in a nice neighborhood and has great outdoor spaces. Randa was so kind to our group and we enjoyed the stay. If you are using the Maitland Art and History Museum for a wedding, this property is ideal!

A sweet little oasis

We had a great time staying here. Was a shame we didn't get to meet the host though, she sounded very nice on the phone. The only thing was that it was not kid friendly so if you have a toddler that gets into everything you need to keep a good eye on them or put them in the playpen that is there which we had to do sometimes. The kids room with toys is great as well. Was very clean here and a beautiful house. No hot tub right now because the owner is working on getting a new one and putting it in herself. Overall the stay was nice. Would be nice to visit again and take more of the family. Can fit 8 people I think.

Feels like home - but much better!

The huge outdoor screened room meant that we could enjoy the fall weather day and night. It also meant that I could visit with our youngest daughter during COVID, as it is fresh air and big enough to socially distance. That was the high point of the trip <3

Visiting family

We rented this home to be close to our son in Casselberry. The house is the perfect location in a quiet neighborhood close to shopping, restaurants, etc. It is also a quick 15-20 min away from all major attractions. The house is beautiful and the pictures don’t do it justice. It is so open and roomy. Randa goes above and beyond and stocks the house with all the little extras to make it feel like home. The indoor porch is beautiful and my family enjoyed a cookout while cooking on the black stone. We will definitely rent this home again when we visit!

Right at home

The photos don’t do justice to the comforts and space of Randa’s home. We had everything we needed, from tons of towels to lots of kitchen equipment to fast Wi-Fi, and even some toys for the kids. Beds are comfortable, street is quiet, with a small playground across the road. Great brewery and other restaurants a short walk away. The house feels like a home with decor and books, but isn’t cluttered and Randa has left plenty of space for guests to settle in. Huge new washer and dryer helped us keep up with a family-worth of laundry. Easy keypad entry. Thanks so much for a great stay!

Great stay!

Fantastic place with lots of space. We were pleasantly surprised by all the thought and consideration that was put into this place by the host. We felt at home and had a great time staying here. Highly recommended for families with kids. It is further away from the parks and such, but very well equipped to handle all the needs of a family with kids IMO. Randa was a great host and very flexible in everything.

Wonderful spot with access to central Florida

This is our second time staying at this property, it's perfectly located in Maitland and so easy to get around central Florida. Secluded and under a canopy of trees, this retreat truly gives you a wonderful relaxing Florida vibe. Randa the host is amazing, super friendly and very responsive. The bed in the master bedroom is amazing, probably the best bed my husband and I have ever slept in, SO relaxing and made us feel we were certainly on a wonderful vacation! So great. We'll certainly be back!

Beautiful home in great location

We wanted a nice place for my son’s college graduation in Winter Park and found this property with great reviews. We were very pleased with the accommodations. Randa, our host, was the best host I have had in all my VRBO rentals. Made sure we were happy, provided us great information, and was always willing to help at all times. This was the best vrbo experience I have ever had. There was a small room for my toddler with toys and books. Randa was so sweet and responsive when somehow a fuse blew and the ac of the house went out at 11 pm at night. She had it fixed so fast the next day. We come to Maitland 1-2 times a year to visit family and will definitely be staying again. Thank you!

My husband and I stayed in this lovely house for our Thanksgiving trip as it's near where my sister lives. This quaint house was very clean and perfect for our stay. It's on a quiet street and conveniently located in Maitland, fairly close to downtown Orlando and Winter Park. Randa was a great host and very responsive; in fact she stopped by to say hello. :) She owns the house behind the main one and another person was staying there too. Overall would highly recommend!
