"This is our second time at Los Lagos. We are big fans of the pools, beautiful property, and impressive breakfast buffet. We got a larger room set up with additional beds this time and the location plus views were lovely. We really enjoy Costa Rican hospitality everywhere but have nothing but great things to say about the service staff. We will be back!"

"Property was not downtown but still walkable to restaurants. Nice pool area and they actually had HOT hot tubs! The other places we went didn’t. So we were happy to sit in a hot one in the evenings. Clean and nice rooms. We were in building two with a perfectly clear view of the volcano! Bar upstairs was nice. Buffet breakfast was great, especially the omelette station for my son! Great place to stay in La Fortuna!"

"We stayed in the 2 bedroom / 2 bath villa for 2 adults and 2 older teens. It was perfect for us - lots of space and close to the pool. The king and 2 queen beds were comfortable and each room had an a/c unit. So handy to have laundry in the unit! Loved having a delicious breakfast included; fresh fruit, pancakes, rice & beans and more. This resort is an easy drive just outside of La Fortuna and it was a quick drive to our activities like hanging bridges and hiking and the Fortuna waterfall. "

"I recently stayed at Brisas and can't say enough good things about this place! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and right at home. The view of nature on the property was unbelievable! I stayed in the newest building C7, and it was absolutely beautiful– the highlight being the new front and rear patio with a nice hammock where I spent peaceful moments soaking in the surrounding nature and view of the Volcano. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or relax in the evening while listening to the sounds of the jungle. The owner is one of the warmest and most genuine people I’ve ever met while traveling. He personally greeted us, shared local tips, and made sure we had everything we needed – he truly treats you like family. The front desk staff were equally fantastic – always helpful,kind and attentive. Whether we needed tour recommendations or had questions about the area, they were ready with a smile and great advice. And let’s talk about the breakfast – it was delicious, freshly prepared, and served in a lovely open-air area where you can watch colorful birds nearby while you eat. A perfect way to start each day in paradise. If you're visiting La Fortuna, Brisas is your best option. It combines comfort, hospitality, and the beauty of Costa Rica in the best possible way. "Our stay at Bauma was fantastic! The staff were very helpful, parking lot was paved, jacuzzi was a good size & the bathroom plus shower were very spacious. It is closer to La Fortuna waterfall and a short drive into the downtown area. There is a small market down the street as well. We would definitely return back to stay here! "

"From the time we got there, we felt rifht at home & safe. I was greeted at the front desk, the gentleman already knew my name. We had welcome drinks delivered to us seconds later. The place was amazingly clean. The hot springs are beautiful, we had them to ourselves most of the time. Highly recommend!"

"We booked Nayara Gardens as part of our last few days after spending 10 days in other areas of Costa Rica. "Absolutely Amazing!The house was perfect for our family with teens having beauty and privacy.Spectacular view to Arenal volcano. Close to great activities and restaurants.We loved the pool and enjoy a lot the open feeling of the house and being so secluded with wild life!The managing team was amazing they helped us with recommendations and to schedule tours before landing.The kitchen was amazing with everything you need and we enjoy having a washer and dryer since we went in raining season and we could dry all our gear for the next day!We will be back so amazing!"

"Nice hot pools and one cold pool for swimming. The shower did not always have hot water and the light over the toilet did not work. Housekeeping service was great and the room was kept clean. Reception checking in and out was slow. Breakfast was a little too salty. Good location close to town. "

"Perfect location! We stayed at the villas and they were very clean and new. We were a little scared about the noise reviews but we didn’t feel any in the villas and we traveled with a 4 month old baby! "
