“I loved my stay at Torbay Guest house. It is located on a quiet road within a few minutes walk to the beach. The breakfast was amazing and freshly-prepared. James was an amazing host, very friendly and attentive. Near the train station or bus stop. James gave me great recommendations for local places to visit.i walked to Brixham from the guesthouse . The path to there was stunning and alongside the coast. Amazing views and calm. I would definitely look to come and stay here again if I am ever……

“On first arrival the car park had plenty of space with a gentle slope to reception. Rang the bell to check in. All very pleasant. Guys name is John and he is as nice as they come. Checked in a went to room. All very nice again. It’s what you need on a business trip. Tv. Bed. Kettle and shower. Had a beer in the bar, good selection of tap beers. I’d missed the kitchen due to my arrival time but he offered sandwiches, pizza etc out of hours. Enjoyed a few beers in the bar and got my head down.……

“A delightful place to stay. Right on the sea with a splendid terrace. Restaurant, bar service, swimming pools, a gym and lots of free parking. A splendid hotel for a base to explore south Devon. A lift is available for most floors.”

“I found the hotel perfect for a short stay in Torquay. Only a 10 minute walk to the seafront and free parking just outside the entrance. I had a lovely cooked breakfast every morning with some extra treats. Really friendly place and I'm going back there in the summer. I'm using the hotel as a base to meet my friends who return to Torquay twice a year.”

“Really lovely little hotel (12 rooms?). Beautifully and tastefully decorated. Location very convenient for Torquay but far enough away from the noise. Beautiful 19th century property. Hosts very friendly, everyone greeted at breakfast by their names - how do they remember everyone's name??! Lovely breakfast all made to order - good variety. Would definitely stay again if in Torquay. We booked through expedia but worth looking at booking direct.”
