“The hotel with the rooms was very outdated. Horrible smell everywhere. Staff were nice and helpful though. We could only park behind the dirty building, car park full of rubbish. The walls were paper-thin, so we heard every conversation (it was rather a screaming between family members) and door slam in the hallway. Ruined our entire weekend. The room was filthy, with dust thick on the Cupboards, shelves, no hoovering was done, I had dirty towels. TV couldn’t be used. The price was very low……

“Overall we had a good experience staying at this hotel. The price was bit expensive for a one night stay. The water flow from the wash basin as the shower was splashing. Other than this everything else was very good. Thank you.”

“One of the best places - the subtle details and the very thoughtful touches created an incredible sense of delight. The hosts thought of everything, literally everything (thank you for the champagne glasses!). The attention to details was amazing. “Had a lovely night away. Room was clean and nice to have a fridge with fresh milk for coffee etc. Breakfast was delicious and lots of choice. Outside areas are great for relaxing and nice to have an outside pool. In a quiet area but within walking distance to the beach, train station and town. Great hosts. Would definitely recommend. “We had a lovely 3 day stay here. Staff were brilliant, very welcoming and helpful . The Hotel had a lovely feel about it and our room was lovely with everything we could need. Everywhere was clean, breakfast was amazing. Really great stay and would highly recommend.”

“When we arrived, it was getting cold. The room was present but cold. There was no attempt to put the heating on untill a complaint was made. And there was no heat in the bathroom the next morning. I was charged an extra £20 for the room. Breakfast was average of poor quality.”

“Lovely building and really helpful owners / staff . Was really clean and tidy and the breakfast was very good . Only a couple of minor things really , the shower head kept dipping down so was a bit of pain when you were shampooing etc . Bit noisy at night time but obviously the very nice owners can’t help that .”

“Lovely family friendly hotel. Only down sides upon arrival we were asked to pay a deposit per night for potential damages even though we had fully paid in advance of our stay. This wasn't mentioned when booking and we were told we couldn't check in until we made the payment. Hotel was noisy at night as we were on the second floor and had people above us, below us and all around. The fire doors in the corridors slam constantly through the night with people returning to their rooms at all hours.……
