"Great bed fantastic room"

"At this price range it would be hard to find a better stay in this area. The room had a mountain view and there was a nice little lounge area with a fire pit under a lovely tree. It was a great way to relax before bed. There was also a separate heating system in the bathroom which was much appreciated on a chilly morning. This is not the fanciest place one could stay in the area, but the owners have made an effort to make it welcoming. "

"We stayed here 2 nights for the fall foliage at Grandfather mountain and Linn Cove Viaduct. The breakfast was good and staffs members were nice.."

"Cabin was cozy and adorable. The hot tub is a great amenity, as well as the washer and dryer. "

"It was a nice place. Room was never checked on after the first night. Had to stand in line at a food truck to get coffee. Asked for more coffee for the room and was told they had the truck. Could have made coffee on our room if they would have brought some. "

"Terrell House was one of the nicest lodging experiences I’ve ever had. The house is very welcoming from the moment you walk through the front door. Mike and Sue were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The house is very nicely decorated, and well maintained. There are several public spaces that are very inviting including a living area with ample seating, a nice breakfast area, and a covered patio in the back that looks onto a wooded area. My room was equally nice and I appreciated the attention to details including a great charging station on my nightstand. Breakfast was an ample assortment of granola, fruit, yogurt, cereal, juices, and toastable items. There is also a Keurig coffee maker with an ample selection of coffees, and a comparable setup for tea lovers both of which are available all day. Sue and Mike leave small food items for their guests who stop by any other time of the day or night. I had barely left at the end of my week-long stay before thinking of when I could schedule another visit. "

"Eric and Chrissy have a very beautiful place. It is very convenient to banner elk and Boone. It was very easy to communicate with the host. We loved being able to go to the gym and use the pool sauna and hot tub. We enjoyed eating at the banner elk Cafe and Lodge and also at stonewalls everything was delicious. Definitely will want to stay in the same area whenever we go back."
