This house is in a quiet new neighborhood in Pleasant Hill Iowa located 20 minutes from Downtown DesMoines,15 minutes from Adventureland amusement park, 15 minutes from Prairie Meadows Casino, 10 minutes from the Iowa State Fairgrounds, 20 minutes from the Chichaque Valley Trail head in Bondurant and 30 minutes from the Iowa Speedway in Newton. This is a two story house with 3 bedrooms and 2-1/2 baths. The property has a washer and dryer and a 2 stall attracted garage available for your use. This entire 1500 sq ft 3 bedroom home is for your private use. It comfortably sleeps 6. There is 1 queen size bed and 2 full size beds. All the comforts of home, with direct TV, wifi, new furnishings, pots, pans, table service, dishwasher, oven, microwave, etc. Kickback on either of the two custom leather sofas while adjusting the flame and heat in the fireplace. Utilize the 55 "smart TV in the living room or the smart TV in the Master Bedroom.

Stayed 3 nights to attend NASCAR race in Newton. House was only half hour drive away from track. Very comfortable house for my group of 6 to stay in. The neighborhood was quiet. No troubles accessing house or garage. Kitchen and bathrooms were clean. We used the lawn chairs and grill one night. Otherwise not there much because we were at the track. Plenty of hot water for all 6 of us to shower each night. Comfortable and roomy.

Amazing home

well laid out home within a quiet neighborhood. My spouse and I greatly appreciated the satellite tv service as well as garage access. The access to the Des Moines area is excellent as well.

We had a great VRBO experience with this rental

Everything about our rental experience was flawless. The house was very clean with beautiful furnishings and all the comforts of home. The owner was very generous and accommodating when we ran into travel difficulties due to winter weather. I would highly recommend this rental. It is conveniently located to all that Des Moines has to offer, yet provides a stay in a nice quiet neighborhood. It was far better than renting 3 hotel rooms to accommodate our family that flew in for Christmas. We had a quality experience, all around.

The only thing i didnt like was the fact i never got the code to the key lock box and we had to contact the owner multiple times so we could even get into the house. And that the master shower was clogged and gross.

Perfect place to stay for golf and to see horses run in circles at the local racetrack. Although I didn’t use any of the amenities, this place was well equipped for small children, outdoor grilling, and anything else you can think of doing. A real gem. The host really has put thought into what anyone may need.

When we arrived at 9:30 pm it was 84 degrees in the house. It took until early morning before it was comfortable. We were also hit with the smell of dog urine. After the ac ran the smell went away. The house was clean and bedding was clean. There was a huge urine stain on one of the beds that did not come from us when we removed the bedding at the end of our stay. The location was great as it was an easy drive to many places were there to visit.

There was animal hair on the beds, and one beds had hair on the sheets. House could use a deep cleaning (fridge, fans...) and organization. Things are thrown and stacked in closets and cabinets.

Property is nice, for all the house rules and remarks about leaving everything clean and items in their “home” property was not that clean. Oven was a disaster that required cleaning to use. Otherwise nice if you do not mind taxidermy and possible daycare with 3 dogs next door.

Quiet location

This house is located in a really nice quiet neighborhood. House met our needs for space. Could use a thorough cleaning. Especially since I paid a cleaning fee… Kitchen well equipped although we only used coffee maker. Didn’t like that we were responsible for washing and drying towels. Makes timing tough when you’re sitting around waiting for towels to get done.
