“We were made to feel very welcome and treated as special throughout. There was a fridge with fresh milk to use with the tea/coffee making facilities. Beautiful views. Lovely garden. Very good room with comfy bed. Excellent choice for breakfast, including home-made bread, scones, and jam. cooked to order. Good parking. Very good location for touring the area and short drive into town with free car parking. Highly recommended. ”

“The accommodation was very clean and well presented but what stood out was the attention to detail in the rooms. We did not experience the full breakfast but the smell was enticing, Instead we had a light breakfast of home made muesli and fresh fruit which again was excellent. The owner was friendly, helpful and very informative about the area I cannot recommend this accommodation higher and will defineatly return if in the area. ”

A few minutes after I received an email from Peartree Hill if I had any special requests. We arrived late at night and was greeted by Avril. She was so kind and had everything ready for us. “Kevin, the owner/operator of this B&B was insanely helpful. The room was small - very small by American standards - but we knew that when we booked it. We were allowed to check-in early and leave our baggage in the main area after we checked-out. The breakfast was great and very hot. Honestly, the for the location and service, it was hard to beat. The only downside was the very small room/bathroom area but we spent little time in the hotel anyway! ”
