After you've visited all of the interesting sights in Playa del Secreto, there's a lot more to explore in the region. Grab the keys to a rental car, stow your luggage in the trunk and get on the road. These are some road trips you're sure to enjoy:

• Head off to Tulum for an excellent sightseeing experience. Around 50 miles from Playa del Secreto, it has loads of cool attractions such as Tulum Mayan Ruins.
• Why not check out everything on offer in Isla Mujeres too? Popular attractions here include North Beach. Isla Mujeres is 35 miles from Playa del Secreto.
• Get into the outdoors and appreciate the serenity at Progreso Beach. You'll find it approximately 180 miles from Playa del Secreto.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in Mexico, then it's likely you'll need to acquire an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country to be able to rent a car. You should also note that if you do need an IDP, it has no validity on its own. You'll have to show your current license your passport and other forms of ID as well.
