“We had a wonderful short stay at the Belmond Maroma to celebrate our engagement. The staff and their service were top notch. In particular, Emanuel took great care of us. The spa was wonderful for both treatments and some time in the hot/cold plunges, steam and sauna. The restaurants were picturesque right on the beach - we particularly liked breakfast with the fresh juices of the day and daily changed pastries. “Staff had great customer service! Adrian who would stock up our bar was exceptional!! Resort was nice and staff went above and beyond. I just wished they had more to do in the resort including more pools. Overall, great resort for being clean and having great customer service!!”

“Wonderful hotel. Grounds are beautiful, all the staff is super helpful. We went on off season so not too crowded. All the restaurants were very good. We especially enjoyed Sairey as part of the go team and the imperial band was AMAZING!! Be aware no matter what building you are in there is going to be quite a bit of walking”

“Beautiful resort. My only complaint is that food is over priced. Small portions for what you are paying for. Room service was excellent always had our room clean. Jungala lobby representatives were awesome they help us since day one. We stayed 6 nights.”

“I’ve been 3 years in a row. The room was great, Santiago is an incredible worker. However, at least half the food on the menu they were out of, including cheese and guacamole. The pool was filthy, the pool tiles were coming loose and I cut my foot on one while in the pool. Further, the pool beds were falling apart. I was disappointed because the facility had been so good the previous two years.”

Neighbor St Regis access is great for dinner at Toro and walking just to see( we have stayed there before and it is awesome as well) Make sure that you have unobstructed view to the room TV or ask for a change.we did. “At check in, concierge did not provide any instructions about keeping the AC below 24C because of their floors quickly condensation that takes place when you open the doors to go in and out of the room. My kid slipped and fell and hurt himself. He almost hit his head on the table. When we told the staff, they acted like it was obvious. But they admitted to training their staff on notifying people who check in moving forward. There are no signs of caution in the room either. The condensation……

“There were RACOONS in our bungalow above the water. The staff was rude. My partner is a RASTA with strict dietary restrictions and THREE (3) Times they tried to feed us PORK when we requested PORK. They are RUDE and ....”
