The spa was wonderful for both treatments and some time in the hot/cold plunges, steam and sauna. “First, I want to say I really enjoyed my stay here! *But* there are definitely pros & cons to this hotel: Pros: The views are amazing, the room is HUGE, the shower & bath were fantastic, the pool on the balcony was perfect for relaxing.. the balcony itself was super private, I was on the 2nd floor, and I really liked that for sunbathing. I was traveling solo, for the purpose of relaxation and I completely achieved that. The bed & pillows were also super comfortable Cons: The outdoor balcony……

“They consider themselves as luxury but they are really not. There were mice droppings ALL OVER the outside of the room in the hallways. Mice droppings in the staircase corners. They have an infestation!!! Also everything is made pretty cheap (furniture, decor, etc). The staff was overwhelmed with the occupancy the week we were there. Would not come back. Hector at the pool and beach was great!! And the lady that did the margarita class was awesome!”

“Resort is beautiful with several pools and accessible bars by the pool side. Rooms are clean, the washroom just needs some updates and a bit more cleaning. The buffets are amazing but the an la cart menus at the restaurants need a bit of work. Staff very friendly. ”

“We stayed here with two families with 4 kids under 10 for two nights.They had so much for them to do. A pool, bounce houses, a trampoline, electric cars, a campfire, and they even got to play with the resident bunny, ducks, and chickens. The staff was also extremely kind and helpful making the kids food to order throughout the day and always finding things to entertain them. We didn't have our own car, but they happily drove us to local cenotes and even helped pick up a friend who needed a ride……

Viridiana from the entertainment team was just the best. She made the trip so much more fun and special. Big shout out to her. Also Edith our server in the lobby and courtyard was wonderful as well! We really felt special. Highly recommend this resort”

“Probably the nicest hotel I've stayed at in this hemisphere.* We stayed in a penthouse suite in the Fairmont's Heritage Place area. The place was immaculate, quiet, spacious, with a great modern kitchen. An in suite bathroom for each of three rooms, and an extra powder room. There are beautiful pools *everywhere*, never crowded. The beach is maybe a 15 minute walk or 5 minute bike ride away. The bikes are well maintained, but single speed, so I had to adjust the seat height to get enough……
