“This was our second time at this resort. We love the beach here. The staff are nice. The music after dinner in the plaza is a nice touch for those of us who go to bed earlier than the shows. The food here is quite good for all inclusive. But the bartenders are terrible, you cannot get a decent mixed drink. My wife and I tried something every day from various bars but settle for wine or a straight alcohol on the rocks that a bartender can’t screw up. Even Don Miguel which seems to be a martini……

“The room, property, and amenities were all great. The staff were absolutely incredible! Shout out Paulino and Vanessa. We don’t remember everyone’s names but they were all super helpful and next level hospitality. We arrived and they had a charcuterie board in the room and refilled bottle water regularly as well as coffee pods. We went to playa Del Carmen for most of our groceries and we also visited Puerto Morelos nearby for lunch/shopping and to pick up some more items. We took taxis for both……

“We had a wonderful short stay at the Belmond Maroma to celebrate our engagement. The staff and their service were top notch. In particular, Emanuel took great care of us. The spa was wonderful for both treatments and some time in the hot/cold plunges, steam and sauna. The restaurants were picturesque right on the beach - we particularly liked breakfast with the fresh juices of the day and daily changed pastries. “We found a stay overall relaxing and enjoyable, but there are a few things that make the resort lacking. The pool does have an incredible view but there is only one pool with limited loungers and daybeds - we were always able to secure one. There was public and private beach access, but no loungers or staffing. If you need to use a daybed or lounger down to the beach, the staff would have to bring it out to you. Access to the public beaches are through a side alleyway that goes down into a……

“First day, I found a cockroach in the washroom. Very peaceful. I read the review that the food is very nice and delicious. I dont think the food is nice. My last night, the drunk guests was yelling and screaming in the halkway that I woke up at 2am. I complained to the resort. It seems they dont really care ”

“El Dorado Maroma is one of if not the best all inclusive resorts I have been ever been to. The food was exceptional; the grounds and facilities were impeccable and all the staff was fantastic. My husband and I were also impressed by the quality of the musicians and entertainers that performed at the resort. The mexican party on the beach was really special and the mariachi band was outstanding. The included catamaran tour with snokeling on the nearby reef where we got to see an impressive amount……

“They consider themselves as luxury but they are really not. There were mice droppings ALL OVER the outside of the room in the hallways. Mice droppings in the staircase corners. They have an infestation!!! Also everything is made pretty cheap (furniture, decor, etc). The staff was overwhelmed with the occupancy the week we were there. Would not come back. Hector at the pool and beach was great!! And the lady that did the margarita class was awesome!”

“Can’t say enough about the staff and the property conditions. Super clean. Only issue was the transportation company they use. Absolutely horrible. Lomas Travel. Waited over an hour to get a ride to the hotel upon arrival in Cancun and our flight was delayed by a couple of hours when leaving and they wouldn’t accommodate a later shuttle for the 6 of us. ”

“We stayed here with two families with 4 kids under 10 for two nights.They had so much for them to do. A pool, bounce houses, a trampoline, electric cars, a campfire, and they even got to play with the resident bunny, ducks, and chickens. The staff was also extremely kind and helpful making the kids food to order throughout the day and always finding things to entertain them. We didn't have our own car, but they happily drove us to local cenotes and even helped pick up a friend who needed a ride……

“Probably the nicest hotel I've stayed at in this hemisphere.* We stayed in a penthouse suite in the Fairmont's Heritage Place area. The place was immaculate, quiet, spacious, with a great modern kitchen. An in suite bathroom for each of three rooms, and an extra powder room. There are beautiful pools *everywhere*, never crowded. The beach is maybe a 15 minute walk or 5 minute bike ride away. The bikes are well maintained, but single speed, so I had to adjust the seat height to get enough……

“Ein exzellentes Erlebnis vom ersten Moment. Man fühlt sich direkt herzlich Willkommen. Das Team an der Rezeption war hervorragend! Das ganze Personal war nett und zuvorkommend. Der Pool war schön und sauber. Der Service am Pool hervorragend. Ich habe geliebt meinen morgendlichen Kaffee auf dem Balkon mit dem Meerblick zu trinken. Das Zimmer war luxuriös und hatte alles, was man braucht. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Kellner sehr nett. Die Cocktails waren unglaublich lecker - nicht der……
