“Free parking, so big that local vintage car club used it as meeting point. Enjoyed the duck for dinner and cooked breakfast in the morning. Room was bigger than expected, clean and quiet. Some parts looked like they needed redecorating but it is an old coaching inn. Only ten minutes from Dyrham Park.”

“Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, sauber und ruhig gelegen. Ein paar kleine Schönheitsreparaturen könnten gemacht werden, um es noch besser zu machen. Es gibt kostenlose Parkplätze. Pubs und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind nicht weit. Sehr hundefreundlich und das Personal ist ebenfalls sehr nett und freundlich. Wir würden wieder kommen. ”

“Lovely little pub which myself and colleague stayed in for one night as we were attending a Farnborough exhibition. 15-20 mins max away from Farnborough exhibition hall. Staff here are so friendly and helpful. Special mention to Blake behind the bar for looking after us all evening. The head chef was lovely too and personally came to see my colleague about the lunch she chose on the next day and tailored it to her liking. All in all nice spacious clean rooms which are separate to the pub so nice...

“A really lovely welcome and a lovely stay. Room was clean and had all the facilities you’d need for a comfortable stay. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was a little busy in the restaurant due to a wedding and a large birthday happening at the same time but once we got some attention we were looked after. Breakfast was nice but would have appreciated some alternative milks on the buffet due to my dairy allergy. ”

“This is above a pub that provides breakfast the next morning. The location of this hotel is great and easy to get to. Can walk the town in the evening easily and safely. The room was very big with a sitting area and big clean bathroom. You can hear lots of noise from the street even 2 floors up. And lots of stairs to go up but would stay again for sure! ”
