“Convenient store and Tim Horton across the street. Good restaurant and pub up the street.”

“It’s a beautiful location but the facilities have not been well maintained over the years. The indoor and outdoor pool were not working. The common areas were somewhat old and dated and needed either a clean or a fresh coat of paint. Our room was in the newer building and was nice but was not cleaned daily. I got the impression that they were really understaffed. One gentlemen who work there was part of the maintenance crew as well as the evening entertainment! He was fantastic. However,……

“The beds were not very comfortable.. the air was not working in our room . On the positive side . Room was clean and it was very quiet. The sheets were clean but not the best feeling to sleep on . Material seemed not the best quality. Breakfast only was till 9:00 am so we didn’t get there on time to have some . Would have been nicer for it to have been available till 10:00 .”

“We loved it so much we're going back next year. If you're all about giving your hard earned dollars to a mom and pop business instead of one of those corporate hotels this is one of the best ones. Across the road from the lake and dock, public beach right there for swimming. Tims down and kawartha creamery just down the road. Boat rentals down the road. Casinorama 12 minutes away. The location checks off all the boxes and staff willing to go that little bit extra for their clients.”
