Over all it was a very nice place to stay we will be back

Upon arriving to the property we were impressed with the outside of the buildings, grounds, and parking lot. Upon walking the property we noticed so many things not maintained like decks, railings, windows. We stayed at the hotel lodge and it needs a massive overhaul. The carpet is very old and stained, the windows need to be replaced, the fireplace door and jacuzzi tub broken, old, not useable. The deck boards need to be replaced, cabinet doors hanging in hinges… super outdated. The wallpaper was peeling off, the lobby has the worst lobby weve ever seen. A few chairs, no couches, no lounging. The flowers outdoors are beautiful , the fake flowers indoors need to be thrown in the garbage. Not inviting at all.. especially with the hot bright working lights instead of warm inviting lights. The place has good bones. The room is big. TV is big but internet sucks… worst Ive had at a resort. Streaming doesn’t work on TV. The view was great from our room except you can see everyone rlse and climb knto everyone elses balconies. No privacy and not ideal for safety. The hotel needs a lot of work.

I stayed at this property 3 years ago and it had great views but that was a out it. This time around I booked it for a business gathering and was so pleasantly surprised to find a huge upgrade in everything from the cleanliness of the rooms to the fact that they now serve an actual breakfastwith hot and cold selections. The lakeside views remain as beautiful as ever and the staff is extremely efficient . Will definitely be back again and again!
