The resort was beautiful, the pool great. and the breakfast buffet extensive. We were disappointed that we couldn’t go in the ocean because of jellyfish, the food (other than the included breakfast) was really expensive, and my deep tissue massage was relaxing but very light.

Wichit is a great area for couples and families looking to get away from the business of Phuket's west coast, especially Patong. You will find peace and tranquility here and it's perfect to island hop.

Wichit is nice and quiet. But its also away from the night life. The closest place to party is Patong Beach which is about 40 minutes away. It will cost you 900-1000 Baht ($30) one-way via a tuk tuk. You can also rent a motor bike but be careful!
