East Coast Cheap Vacations

The staff were very nice and helpful. The place was well maintained and cleaned. The only concern I had was the lack of attention. Had to call the concierge desk multiple times for clean towels and sheet. Asked for laundry service and that never came. Had to ask multiple times for my fridge to be restocked with beverages as I had small children traveling with me.

First and foremost, my husband booked this hotel for our 10 year anniversary and while we had a good time, I would definitely say it is not worth the price. There were a lot of things listed as things to do on the property that weren't available. Such as scuba diving, windsurfing , arcade room etc. I did not appreciate how money hungry the staff was especially at the swim up bar specifically an employee named Saul. My husband and I first time at the swim bar requested a drink, and Saul slammed the tip jar in front of us. I’m completely confused as to how do you expect to be tipped if you have not serviced us yet or are showing any type of good customer service.. we were not the only people he did it to. When he seen other bartenders serving us he kept asking if we gave them money to the point we didn’t go back to the swim bar. The other workers noticed how he was treating visitors and decided to come to us and try to make us feel comfortable. Another experience was they charge everyone different prices for excursions which I think is absolutely bizarre. Before arriving, I explained to the hotel that I was going to celebrate my anniversary. I do appreciate that they decorated the room we stood in, but we end up having to change the room because the toilet wasn’t flushing and our mini fridge did not work. As for the food, we were hungry most of the time because the food was a 5/10 although we did enjoy our last meal at the steakhouse. Overall experience is 6/10.

Amazing experience! The resort was beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. The atmosphere was peaceful and perfect for relaxing. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The service was excellent, and everything was organized with great attention to detail. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

If they work on the food selection it would be better. If you dont eat pork you don't have a lot of chose

Everything was good

When arriving to the resort, our room was not ready and we were there prior to the 3:00 pm check in. At 3:00 pm, I went back to the front desk, as directed, and waited for over 30 minutes to get my room. I was left by the person helping me to move over to other customers for over 20 minutes. The process was not very good. The room was fine. We had two teenagers with us, so we got a room with a king bed and 2 sofa beds. One of the sofa beds had many springs that were unattached. There were no sheets even in the room for that sofa bed. I will say that housekeeping was great. They were there quickly and helped us out with sheets. After 3 days, there was a leak from the air conditioner compressor. We were told numerous times that we would be helped in 20 minutes. A maintenance employee arrived, looked at the problem and said he would be back with tools. No one ever came back. I went to the front desk and was told I had to wait on a long line of people checking in. There was nowhere to go to deal with issues. Again, terrible set up. I was called and told that they would set up a beach cabana for the trouble. That never happened. Then, I was told that I would get a voucher for my next trip, if I chose to stay at a Hard Rock property. Then, I got an email that I would get an "upgrade", whatever that actually meant. I feel that this particular property was very poor at helping customers with issues at the property.
