We enjoyed our stay very much. Our room was excellent. The beach was amazing. Our only semi-complaint was the service at the restaurant outside. We waited over an hour for our food to arrive. All the tables around us were seated after us and got their food before us. We had also ordered some food to go. Half of our Togo order arrived before our food did. It appeared that they didn’t have enough people working to keep up with the amount of guests there. For the price of the food, the kitchen should run more efficiently. Other than that we had a great stay.

The Ponte Vedra Inn and club prides itself on service-upscale amenities- right now the resort is going through refurbishment so the risk -no family pool or adult pool or any appropriate beach access point they also have very limited dining right now the golf club room is it-so despite the setbacks due to the reconstruction, they still always maintain a high level of service just be cautious. There aren’t the traditional swimming pools or beach, access areas or oceanfront dining that the hotel had in the past until the new rebuild is finished.

When we arrived, we were somewhat surprised at the condition of the hotel, being a part of the Ritz Carlton chain. The hotel was rundown, floors were not swept or clean. Our hotel room smelt like dog urine. Will not go back.

The room we got was not as advertised. 14 minutes away from the beach. No elevator, no ice nearby, no laundry, no housekeeping. Carpet in the room and not well decorated. our view was of an AC unit. Plenty of Roaches waiting for us every night outside our door. Last year, we booked the exact same stay as this year through Expedia and it was a night and day experience.
