Upon arrival I checked into my room. I had booked my room through expedia and it called for a spa tub. The room assigned to me was a handicapped room with a walk in shower. After 24 hours of plane travel I was exhausted and sore. The counter staff explained that when you book 3rd party you are not guaranteed a spa bath (Even if you paid more for it!). I was very distressed by this. I suffer from arthritis and needed to have a tub to soak each night. Despite the hotel being full for a convention, the manager took the time to move things around and give me a room with a spa bath. During my stay the staff was very helpful with shuttle service, directions, and making sure in every way our stay was a great one. I cannot express how much I appreciated the time that manager took to find me what I needed.

We only stayed for the weekend for a wedding in nearby rumford. The hotel was 10-15 from the hotel and 10 minutes from the wedding. Very convenient! Also right next to highway. Didn't have anything to complain about. Parking was kinda confusing with whether or not to get a ticket inside but the machine was broken so they explained we didn't need one to validate it.

Booking was easy and so was check-in/check-out. There was plentiful free parking. The rooms were large and clean, with a fridge, flat screen TV with cable, and an easy chair. There was a nice pool with hot tub, and a 24 hour fitness center. There were lots of amenities we didn't use, such as a salon. There was a cute little gift shop, a lovely lobby, and a friendly bar off the lobby. The days we were there, several high school age sports teams stayed there, but the place was not noisy. We had a room overlooking I-95, but again, I was not disturbed by noise. The hotel ran a shuttle to the mall, so instead of walking to see the WaterFire as we had planned, we had a ride. The location close to the heart of Providence justified the price, in my mind. Sunday evening,we came back to the hotel looking for dinner. We waited near the unmanned maître de station for about 10 minutes and were totally ignored. There was a busy server and a bartender and no one else. After perusing the expensive menu, we decided to order on-line. That was the only negative part of our visit.

Super nice hotel. Interesting layout and design. Beds were comfy and the shower was very different. I would stay again the only thing was the air conditioner very very loud. Other than that stay was plesant and even the food was good.
