Expected much betterPosted Nov 21, 2013
Pros: the room, the bed, the WIFI
Cons: staff knowledge, atmosphere, transport to the airport, food choices, timings of the exec lounge
Location: in an industrial estate on the wrong side of M25 to the airport....
Firstly, its worth noting this hotel is not at T5 and the shuttle service is not free, its £4. For an airport hotel there are many things this hotel lacks. Breakfast starts at 6am, which although early there is no accomodation for people arriving and leaving at strange times of the day and night. For you fellow executive club members, its worth noting the lounge closes at 9pm and stops providing drinks and food at 8pm. Incredibly early for an airport hotel. The hotel overall lacks ambience and staff all came over as inexperienced, incapable and unprofessional. Check in took ages whilst they found my booking, argued that parking wasnt included in rate when it was and then also find me a suitable room as a gold card member. Dinner was expensive and choice was quite limited for a hotel where people are arriving at different times from different time zones with varying appetites. On check out i was told there was a shuttle direct to the airport that takes 3 minutes. In reality it goes via the travel lodge, picks people up and takes about 10 minutes plus visiting T4 and T5. Not what i'd expect for a supposed on terminal hotel. The rooms were clean and quiet, standard Hilton feel, but it feels that this hotel is lacking something that makes me see any point in returning.

Location not in easy access to airportPosted Nov 18, 2013
The hotel is beautiful and very comfortable. Breakfast was awesome, good coffee!!! The down fall to the hotel is the location, you need to pay for a taxi, car service or bus ride to get to the hotel and then again on your return if connecting next day. When I saw that my next days flight was terminal 5 and hotel was terminal 5.... I was hoping I could walk :-(

Close to Heathrow but not in Terminal 5!Posted Nov 12, 2013
We were confused as we stayed at a Hilton at Heathrow in 2011. That was in Terminal 4. You have to pay and ride a shuttle bus to get to and from the airport and it takes about 20 minutes. Before my husband retired he stayed at Hiltons so we always got the Executive Floor. Sunita at the desk chose to give us the upgrade which was great! Room was nice & spacious & what you'd expect of a Hilton.

Excellent airport hotelPosted Nov 4, 2013
We always use this hotel when travelling from terminal 5. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are large, clean and have everything you need. The restaurants and bar are also excellent.

The hotel is not at Terminal FivePosted Nov 4, 2013
Pros: very modern and quiet rooms.
Location: Two restaurants within 10 minutes walking distance. Thai and Italian.
The hotel is very nice but you do have to take a bus to the hotel which runs approx. every half hour and the price is apprx 4 GBP per person each way. It is about 15 minutes to and from hotel to at least Terminal 5. The buses run on time. The hotel is very large and out a ways. taxis are available but they charge between 29 and 35 GBP each way.

Excellent hotel close by HeathrowPosted Oct 29, 2013
Location: Only stayed 1 night
Stayed at this hotel for 1 night after a long flight from Australia via Bangkok and Dubai. The staff on the front desk were wonderful, we had arrived earlier but that wasn't a problem a room was made available within minutes of check in. Breakfast was superb, the chef even went to the trouble of making oatmeal especially for us, and Mario waited on us hand and foot. The only sour note was a member of staff who tried to charge us double for room service. A bit out of the way for restaurants etc. and a good 15 minute bus ride from Heathrow.

Nice hotel, if a little far from the actionPosted Oct 28, 2013
Pros: Clean, places to eat, very helpful staff.
It's a great hotel, but be aware you are not near anything but the hotel. They have several nice places to eat and drink in the hotel and if that's the convenience you want, then it's fine. If you want to go explore for a pub, good luck on that. The room was great--very large and very clean. All in all, it's a good place to stay for a night if you're flying out the next day.

Unexpected luxury. Enjoyed it very much.Posted Oct 9, 2013
Pros: Everything, but especially the bathroom- particularly the bathtub, towel warmer, and speaker. I loved how you can change the lighting in there too.
Cons: The prices of the food. Closer ice machines.
Location: I was there one night, and I was too tired to go out.
We have never been in a hotel so nice with so many nice features. It was really updated and comfortable. I didn't expect it to be so nice. I'm very glad I stayed there. It was top notch! The staff was very nice and efficient too. A+ experience.
