Good Stay
Good rooms, nice pool (large) and Hot spa. Fre biscuits and fruit at reception was a nice touch. Good location for restaurants and catching the shuttle to Disnayland was very easy.

Everything you need at a great price
Great location near Hollywood’s center; get the business traveler package as you get free wireless internet & valet parking. No robe, no candy on the pillow, gym had just the basics--and I’d rather pay for what I use (or get it free--the hotel gave me the business traveler freebies for a 4th night at no extra charge). also you can print your boarding passes for free in the lobby-no need for the business center charge. Will definitely stay here again.

Very conveniently located, service was great
My husband and I stayed there for a couple of nights at the beginning of our honeymoon. Everyone in the hotel was extremely nice, at the front desks as well as in the restaurant. It is very convenient to many major attractions and shopping in Hollywood all in walking distance. Would definitely stay again.

Very good hotel ifyou want to visit hollywood area
Hotel has great location for many LA attractions. Right next door Kodak Theater,walk of fame wax museum etc. Our room had excellent view of Hollywood Hillsa and Hollywood sign. Service and amenities were good. Can get crowded at night due to premier of movies at Kodak Theater.

Wonderful hotel and location
Rooms are beautiful and service is first class. Lovely pool and gym. Expensive, but if you can get a discount it is totally worth it.

Right in the heart of Hollywood! Numerous dining choices and shops. Walk to the Hollywood Bowl - they’ll even make you a picnic basket to take with you. :)

Very nice hotel. This is a place to stay for a short trip. It’s not a destination location. Definitely need a rental car here.

Depends on what you’re looking for
It’s a beautiful hotel in the heart of Hollywood, which means traffic and noise. Including noise on the guest floors, which the paper thin walls did not filter out. I could hear every word my entertainment biz next door neighbors were saying and the tinny sound of their radio. I could not have my room moved the first night because the place was packed but I was able to move to a less insane part of the floor on night two. The night bell man and concierge were very polite and apologetic, but I would not return to this hotel.

Great location, great service, beds not comfortable
The hotel is located perfectly with beautiful views of Hollywood. There is great shopping and entertainment and food at the tip of your traveling fingers. My only disappointment is that the beds were very uncomfortable. They need updating.

Very nice hotel
The Hotel is very big and has a Las Vegas feel to it. The bed was a little too firm for me, but overall a very good experience. The hallways are a little loud, but that was expected as there were many christmas parties and conventions that weekend.
Everything you could imagine is within walking distance.

not impressed this time. it felt rundown and dated.
disappointed in this recent stay. We have stayed before (couple years ago) and it was teriffic. This time, not happy. Rooms were dated and not kept up very well. A/C was weak. Concierge level (19th floor) was not available. Front desk and valet parking was very good. They might be in a remodeling phase but no signs saying so.

Good Value
This hotel is located in the heart of Hollywood. A perfect destination for the tour busses and shopping. I think it was a very good value. The food service needs to improve in the hotel and area surrounding it, but other than that I was very happy with my stay and would recommend it.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Make sure to get the better Beverly Hills tour of the stars home. The one I took on the open vehicle/bus was not good like one I took two years ago on a trolley type bus. It wasn’t as thorough or interesting. Take the one that takes you up to the Hollywood sign!

Top location for a real Hollywood stay
Excellent location for this nice hotel: Short walking distance to Hollywood blvd, Sunset Blvd, Chinese theater, etc... I can’t see a best place locally!!

It’s all about Location
LA traffic is really, really bad. Going just nine miles can take 45 minutes! So Being central to everything is key. This hotel is perfect for touring around with minimum driving. And it offers tons to do and see right on site.

Best food in town is the historic "Mel’s Diner" right across the street from the hotel on North Highland. Great variety, open 24 hours, great service, and fantastic prices!

Hotel Central to all Hot Spots in Hollywood
Hotel is very convenient to all the tourist attractions in Hollywood. Be prepared to pay for parking. The parking lot is not part of the hotel, so if you have luggages it is best to have the bell hop to help. The bed and blankets are the very comfortable.
