“Excellent service and support from staff. Rooms were not clean and there was a strong pet scent in the spaces and rooms. Bring slippers for room wear. Got a bite so im terrified but unsure if its bed bug.”

“The hotel can be a wonderful place to stay, as long as you are located away from the beer garden on the weekends. Unfortunately, my room overlooked the beer garden on a Saturday night. The music was going until midnight, and the crowd partied until the wee hours. If the room were soundproof, I would have been able to sleep, but alas, it was not. I have stayed here previously, and only have positive feedback about the quality of the premises and the friendly staff. The beer garden was new to me……

“This place is absolutely horrible. Not unkept at all, both outside and inside. Very dirty, elevator did not work. Room was nasty. Couch was very dirty, sheet had holes in it. No where to plug in phones. Water constantly leaking from the ceiling causing water to puddle on the counter and floor, mold in bathroom as well. The toilet was broken as well, it would flush but it would just keep running because the rubber seal inside the tank is broken. No headboard, broken lamps and lamp shades. Mirrors……

“We got there an hour early after a 7 hour drive, but had to wait 48 minutes to check in due to being too early for check. Place was mostly clean. Floors could have been swept and mopped. And parking lot enterence was on a one way busy road”

“The Steelhead Inn is a clean no frills motel with fantastic location to restaurants and Presque Isle State Park. It is our 'go to' location for rwasonably”
