“We booked a last minute 3 day trip and decided to try a new hotel. Well now I understand what people mean when they say" you get what you pay for." When we arrived to check in we were a bit confused with the location. There is actually 2 separate building first one is where the lobby is located and the second one is where the pools are located. When I went into the lobby to check in no one was there at first but than someone appeared. The gentleman was somewhat pleasant but not very welcoming.……

“My fiancé and I went for a quick getaway before school starts. The hotel was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The balcony oceanview was perfect to watch the sunrise & the staff was very friendly and attentive. We were able to enjoy the pool, which was sizable and never too crowded. It was a convenient location, and felt like we access to everything we needed. Very relaxing and a good reset for my family.”

“The rooms are spacious for sure, The beach is literally across the street from this hotel. There are 2 pools at this hotel which is always great, The staff is kind and friendly. Parking is charged per day. The only downfall is that some of the rooms our outdated and need to be revamped as it gives it an off vibe. But overall good experience, great hotel, spacious rooms and close to everything on the boardwalk.”

“We stayed at Madison for three days and had a great time! Pros: 1. Location - close to boardwalk and to the bay, including our favorite restaurant De Lazy Lizard (great for kids!!) 2. Parking was convenient and plenty of spots available. 3. Rooms - beds were comfortable. Liked the materials. 4. Pool was great. 5. Staff was super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Cons 1. Rooms are small overall which makes the space pretty tight. It was doable for our family for a few days but I think……

“The coffee in the reception area was awesome.!! The room has a musty damp smell that didn’t dissipate even with the balcony door open. The carpet in front of the TV was soaked when we arrived. The bathroom tub had dirt in it like someone stepped in it, the bottom of the front door was broken and dragged the floor when opening and shutting which made it difficult to close properly without pulling and pushing it hard to close and the pictures online showed rooms with a kitchenette. For the money……
