“A small room with double bed. Very clean. Hospitality tray very well supplied. Bathroom with bath with shower over.
The staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent evening meal.
The room would have benefited from a bedside lamp reached from the exit side of the bed. ”

“Staff delightful, nothing too much trouble. Nice and clean, and what you would expect from a 17th century establishment, and comfortable. Parking was secure and easily accessible. You are in the centre of the village. Easy access to other areas of the Scottish Borders. Evening tends to close early so make sure you bring a good book. ”

“We received a friendly welcome on arrival and our room was spacious, very clean and styled in a contemporary way. The bathroom fittings were new and had very good lighting. Breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed our stay very much. ”
