"We were just 2 people. The upstairs shower was slippery to us so we used downstairs. Needed a fan in back bedroom. Lots of spiderwebs on outdoor chairs. Used swing only. There are lots of cameras, just a little unnerving. No garbage disposal! No regular coffee pot, just keurig. Tiny ice cube trays, no ice maker. "

"Went on a family trip to the Smokies! The cabin is great on a large property with a beautiful view of the lake. Can be difficult to find at night. Lots of twisty roads. The cabin itself was comfortable with plenty of room for 7 of us. Make sure to bring groceries because there are only small convenience stores nearby. Bring wood for the fire pit and swim gear for the hot tub. We look forward to returning next year!"

"The house is on the water but you are not able to get down to it due to the steep areas no dock to use fire pit was over grown not safe to use . Water smelled like popcorn owner stated still was safe to use but not a great thing to shower in.
Driveway not lit up and in a very remote are needs lights. Lots of out door lights burnt out. No lundry soap for washer . Wall plugs in one room didnt have covers over them. Deck is not not clean. Needs better signage for property entrance was hard to find...

"We had such a great time at this property. The drive up to the house is gorgeous, have your camera ready! The cabin is exactly how it looks in pics. Our host Jeff was super nice and let us know how to contact him if we needed anything but also gave us complete privacy. Its non smoking, but you can smoke outside on the porch (he provides an ashtray). This little town is about an hour away from popular destinations. We went to Gatlinburg, The Smokey Mountains National Park, The Cherokee National...

The same price as national chains in the area but you get character, charm and great service. I had a fireplace in the room, original hardwood flooring in great shape; no chain can compare. Then, a friendly bar/restaurant on the main floor that the locals patronize almost had me singing the song from "Cheers".....where everybody knows your name.....
