“Overall, the cabin was a nice place to stay. The only thing I would recommend is for the board games to be complete and when you open the closets, there are blankets and pillows and other miscellaneous stuff just thrown. Also some of the cabinets had miscellaneous stuff that didn't belong in the cabin. The towels need to be cleaner and the living room area can use a set of curtains in the patio, doors. Gym equipment was in the way and a hazard. ”
“The location is great and centrally located near everything Big Bear has to offer.
That said, the property felt under-equipped and poorly maintained. The kitchen item were as cheap as cheap could be and lacked. Several things were broken, such as the toilet seat and blinds. The hot water in the shower was not adequate. Towels, toiletries, were as cheap as kitchen. The bedding, and the bed were not comfortable. This place did not meet the cost. I actually chose to leave before my second night……
“Soooo we arrived on day 1 to find the cabin hadn't been cleaned after the last occupants. Mildew towels on the carpet, etc. After a series of calls, the cleaning crew came in the evening. Soooo on day 2 we returned from a fun day of activities to find a very nice young family had moved in and were occupying the cabin. Yes, double-booked. After another series of calls and texts, they were relocated. Sooo on day 3 we were told the cabin owner was stopping by to get his boat key while we were out……
“Our stay at this cabin was absolutely wonderful, except for the fact that there is no AC and it was extremely hot during our July stay. Other than not having AC the house was so clean and beautiful. If it did have AC then I would have said it was perfect. Hopefully soon they will have a working AC system.”
