“This Dowager hotel has lost her luster. She is tired and rundown. We had to ask for toilet paper during our recent stay of a week. No housekeeping. The thermostat was immovable. The decor is dated. It is in an excellent location. There is no valet parking (or at least there wasn’t when we were there. You had to park in a parking garage. Going in and out and paying each time is ridiculous for a hotel of a caliber it used to be. If location is important, this is a great hotel. If you need parking,……

“We stayed there overnight after a day-long event at the statehouse. Check-in in was fast and pleasant--the staff is super-helpful and friendly. During check-in, we received a token for a welcome drink--great perk especially after wrapping up a long day! We stayed in a king-bed suite: we loved the modern and sophisticated design of the room and the spacious bathroom with separate tub and shower. Since we were staying on the eighth floor, we were just steps from the rooftop bar, Brass Eye. Dinner……
