“The room was fairly basic, minimalist! There were no spare blankets available but the room had heat available in the hotel.
The restaurant ordering was all by QR code - no cash. The food was good.
The outer corridors was noisy until 9.45pm with small children running up and down and yelling unsupervised. I didn’t report it hoping the parents would act like parents!”

“Lovely room for a relaxing stay in the New Forest.
The food (dinner and breakfast) was standard hotel food—not bad but not great. The dinner was presented in a gourmet style but of average quality.”

“I chose this hotel because I assumed it would be old fashioned and full of character. So it turned out to be.
It is very conveniently located.
Inside is very comfortable if a little tired in places. The chairs are buttoned leather and the clientele at the time I stayed were in their golden years.
Our room was very spacious but oddly shaped. It all added to the charm.
Recommended.”
