"Fantastic Location for Sightseeing in Rome"
Close to the main train station and a metro station which gives you easy access to the rest of the city. Also close to a major road full of shops and cafes and within walking distance to some of the major sights in Rome, what more can you ask for? The staff were super helpful and polite. They had a laundry room and vending machine with toiletries etc which came in very handy. There was a small play area for our four year old daughter which was fun. Their breakfast buffet had a great selection and was a great start to our day for exploring.

"Good base to explore Central Rome"
Nice welcome by e-mail even before arrival, with offer of advance check-in. Hotel dates back to 19th Century with main fabric still reflecting old splendour, even if somewhat faded by now. Very apt for a city steeped in history. Staff are friendly and efficient, bedroom spacious and comfortable with large spotless bathroom. Only negative comment: Breakfast was disappointing with mediocre coffee out of self-service machines and an awful bread selection: sliced factory bread and tasteless dense doughy rolls (but fine pastry selection!). Dutch Edam cheese the only one on offer. Where are those lovely Italian breads and cheeses? Hot selection: pre-cooked scrambled egg, fatty bacon, chopped up frankfurters.

"Modern yet cozy boutique hotel"
I had a great experience at this hotel. The staff went above and beyond doing their jobs. I especially appreciated the close to perfect service provided by Victoria, Walter, Jed and the young guy at the hotel bar (Adrian?). Each of them always made sure that I was comfortable and that all my needs were addressed. The complimentary daily breakfast was pretty good and had nice variety, although I wish they changed the type of dishes daily. Overall, the hotel was spotless and tastefully decorated. I would definitely stay at the Tribune Hotel once again on my next visit to Rome, especially since I was told that a gym and spa will also be opening soon. Oh, I highly recommend the Negroni at the hotel bar. It's delicious and a sight to behold! My only gripe is with Expedia, who gave wrong information about the room size. When I booked my room on the website, it was advertised as 300+ square feet, but it was definitely a lot smaller when I got there. In fact, the front desk said that I've already been upgraded at that point. I wish Expedia would get accurate information about these rooms so that there aren't false expectations. No harm done though, because I survived, and as I said, the Tribune Hotel was lovely.

"Close to the Termini Station."
Nice hotel, well located. Big rooms (considering the size standard for hotel rooms in Rome). Quiet (at least the room I've got with backyard view). The only reason I do not give 5/5 is because: a) Air Conditioning was not working (I was told that this is because the season of the year... and the temperature was warm. It's really non sense this kind of thing b) I had to get my flight at 10 PM. When I asked for a late check-out, it was refused and I had to stay wondering until 6 PM so I went to the airport. c) Room floor was little dirty (I had my feet with dust while in barefoot at the room)

"Excellent Hotel , Perfect Location."
Hotel was just about 15 minute walk from the main train station directly opposite the Opera House. Staff we very welcoming and we were given a free upgrade to a deluxe room. Hotel was stylishly decorated and the room was spotlessly clean. A large firm bed and impressive TV. Importantly the bathroom was immaculate with a large bath and over bath shower. Also a good hair dryer not one if those fixed to the wall useless contraptions. We opted for breakfast and again this was very good, with a good selection from the buffet more than enough to satisfy and set you up for the day. The location was perfect for walking into all the city centre attractions , nearby local back streets provided good local restaurants so much cheaper than those close to the main attractions. If staying in Rome this is a great choice of hotel.

"Very good value with good facilities"
Friendly staff when you arrive, understand and speak english to help you. Nice rooms, clean, warming, with everything you need. Free wifi with easy access. Breakfast very well stocked, with classic Italian bits and some things you find at home (ie Tea). Bar in the Hotel friendly and nice to have a drink before you go out, location is 5 mins walk from Termini, in line of sight when you leave the station and turn right.
