"When we arrived we never received the text that we were supposed to receive once the property was cleaned. When entered many kitchen items were still dirty and some rooms had a lot of dust. We also didn't have any soap sponges, so we called to get one in the property and we were told that someone would come shortly, but no one did. We then called again the next day and the same thing happened we were told that someone would come and no one did."

The ladies that checked us in were fantastic! The room was fine, nothing fancy, just a place to sleep. Unfortunately the men in the room next to us woke us up at 2am & none of us slept well after that. Breakfast was good, the lady serving was friendly. Check out was simple. Great view!

Very peaceful and relaxing property. I love the view from the loft. You can watch the sun rise straight from your bed. There is a very neat mediation point just steps from the cabin. Great for prayer and a quiet moment with God. The view of the river is gorgeous too and can be seen from loft and back porch area which has two rocking chairs and an area to make a fire.

The entire area was extremely well maintained and pleasant. Room was in excellent condition, clean, and comfortable. Also far enough out of downtown Gatlinburg to not feel crowded with a smaller pancake house and Food city nearby if you’re there with your family. We will definitely be back with the kids.

There’s a narrow spiral staircase that made me nervous. It’s wooden and creaks as you step. But it’s ingenuously made, possibly by hand. The cabin has lots of little touches like that that tell you it was lovingly built and decorated. The mural downstairs is the most obvious example, but there’s also an antique dresser for the master bath’s sink, etc.
The hot tub was great. It has a bar that makes it possible for one person to remove the cover.
