Will defiantly stay again! Staff was supper accommodating and even moved us to a suite in order to accommodate our need for a freezer. Everyone we interacted with was nice and pleasant to talk to. Nice new property with a cool hangout spot and food options attached. Love having the growler in the room to go get beer from the tap house! It's a little bit away from Old Town, but still only a 10 minute walk. Next time we're there we'll bring a bike to help explore. Room was clean and comfortable. Only critique I have is that water pressure was actually too high and showering was almost like getting pressure washed. I'd recommend they replace the showerheads or put in a regulator to make the shower more comfortable. We look forward to coming back next time we're in town!

The place was nice and unique but the room was not well insulated especially in the bathroom. It was cold at night time even with the heater up. But the staff was friendly and helpful.

I chose El Vado because it is close to Botanic Garden and Old Town. It was a "River of Lights" event so area was busy. Hotel was nicely renovated with a comfy lounge area with fireplace. Check-in desk in relation to parking and lounge was a bit strange. Security is important, but three locks were cumbersome with luggage,etc. Much more character than a standard hotel.
