The host confirmed the people coming and when we got there she had a cute little doggie set up ready and a high chair for our granddaughter. The property was perfect, the view was extraordinary. "This was our first stay at the Happy Shack but it will not be our last. It's name says it all. It is such a fun, whimsical, eclectic, happy place to be if you want a great vacation and a break from reality and the everyday hustle and bustle of life. We where there over Labor Day Weekend and through the week. We maybe saw 3 or 4 families near the private beach access over the Holiday weekend and there was literally no one else there during the week but us. It was like having our own private beach all to ourselves. It is a very easy and quick walk across the street. My husband and boys enjoyed fishing off the beach and one of them even caught a stingray. I saw multiple dolphins feeding on mullet just feet from the shore before sunset one evening. And the first walk on the beach I found my first whole sand dollar in it's natural setting, I had never found one of those before just walking the beach. Just Amazing is all I can say about the Happy Shack!!"
